Triggers
How a run starts.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Manual run | Starts when someone runs the workflow by hand. You declare the fields they fill in, and each one becomes a value for the steps. |
| Scheduled | Starts on a schedule: a cron expression read in a time zone. |
| Webhook | Starts when a request reaches the workflow's own webhook URL. You declare the shape of the body, and the steps read it. |
| Event | Starts when an event of Filmo or of a connected service happens and passes the filter you set. Every event has its own page. |
| Signal | Starts when another workflow emits the signal you pick, with the data that travels with it. |
| Manual run on a record | Starts for one record of a type you pick. The input of the run is the id of that record. |
| From another workflow | Starts when another workflow chains it. You declare the input fields it expects; it cannot be started by hand or through the API. |
