Warn sales when a quote is viewed and not signed
A customer opens a quote in the portal for the first time and goes quiet. Two days later, if the quote is still pending, a task to call is created, with the customer's history in its description, and sales are told on Slack.
Before you start
This is the template "Quote viewed and not signed → the salesperson calls". You need Slack connected and AI credits. You fill in one blank: the Slack channel. The rest is ready. The texts a template writes (messages, task titles, email bodies) are in Spanish as the catalog has them: edit them to your language before you go live.

What it does
Link to this section: What it does| # | Step | Setting |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger | Event: quote viewed in the portal | Fires the first time a customer opens each published version of a quote; opening it again does not fire it again, a new version does. It is an external fact: the contact has no account. The run acts as the creator of the workflow. |
| 1 | «Adjust date» | Date = Today, add 2 days. Publishes the follow-up date. |
| 2 | «Wait until» | Date = the follow-up date. The run sleeps; a bare date wakes at 00:00 of that day in the company's time zone. |
| 3 | Find quote | Quote id = the quote of the trigger. Gives back, among other things, its operative status (pending, confirmed, cancelled or superseded). |
| 4 | «Condition» | Quote status is equal to pending. The Else lane is empty: a signed or declined quote ends the run quietly. |
| 5 | «Ask the AI» | In Then. Question: the customer's history (what they have rented, average ticket, last operation and which arguments worked), with the customer's name inserted. Web search off. |
| 6 | Create task | In Then. Title: "Call <customer> — viewed <quote number> (<total> €)". The description is Neo's answer; the start date is Today. The task is created unassigned: add the staff member in this step if it should appear on someone's list. |
| 7 | «Post a message» | In Then. The message names the customer and attaches Neo's answer. The channel is the blank you fill in. |
Build it

«New workflow», «Start from a template», pick the template. It opens as a «Draft».
Choose the Slack channel
Click the last step, «Post a message», and pick the channel your sales team reads. The editor shows the step with a red border and lists it as incomplete until you do.
Read the condition
Click the condition. It compares the status that step 3 found with pending. Step 3 reads the quote again on purpose: a lot can change in two days.
Publish and activate
«Publish and activate». If you left a blank, the message lists it.
Why it is built this way
Link to this section: Why it is built this way- The wait is first. The run does not consume a worker for two days: it is saved with the wake-up moment and brought back by the clock.
- The status is checked after the wait, not before, because that is the moment that matters.
- Neo's answer is written for a person. The workflow hands it over in a task and a message, and decides nothing from it.
- The Else lane is empty: when nothing needs to happen, nothing happens, and nobody gets a message.
To change the two days, change the number in the first step. The wait itself has no number to change here: it waits until the date the first step computes. See Waits and dates.
Neo's history depends on what is in your account and is not verified by Filmo. Read it before you call.

Waits and dates
A wait does not block anything: the run is parked, the worker is freed, and the run comes back when its time arrives. You can wait for a delay, or until a date.

Conditions and operators
A condition compares one variable with one value. The Condition step sends the run down one of two paths; the Switch step picks the first of several.

AI steps
Four steps ask Neo, the AI assistant, to read, classify or decide. They are ordinary steps with one difference: they spend AI credits.
