# Signal

> Starts when another workflow emits the signal you pick, with the data that travels with it.

TRIGGER `signal`

## Configuration

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `signal` | string | Yes | Id of the signal; empty means none chosen. |
| `signalName` | string | Yes | Visible name of the signal when it is chosen (display only; the key is the id). |
| `body` | type | Yes | The shape of the data that travels with the signal. |
