# Internal notification

> Shows an internal notification in the app, with a style, a title and a message, to a role or to a user.

## Behaviour

| Retries | A step is not retried. If it fails (a step error, an HTTP answer that is not 2xx…), the run ends as failed and is not retried on its own, unless the step sits inside a «Try» step, which catches the failure so the run goes on. Only failures of the engine itself are retried, up to 3 attempts with waits of 30 and 60 seconds, and the retry skips the steps already completed. |
| Repeated runs | Protected: running the same step again does not repeat its effect. |
