# Try

> Runs the steps it holds and catches a step failure instead of ending the run: it hands `failed` and `errorMessage` to the next steps and the run goes on.

> **Note:** It catches step failures. Engine exceptions, fatal errors, jumps and waits go through it. With nested Try steps, the innermost one catches.
