# Update service

> Changes the data of a catalogue service. Only the fields you fill in are modified; the rest stay as they are.

## Inputs

| `nameExternal` | string | No | **Name for the customer.** It is the name the customer will see on quotes and invoices. E.g.: Full-day shooting crew. |
| `serviceType` | enum<string> | No | Staff if your team provides it, Fleet if it includes vehicles, General for the rest. `crew`, `fleet`, `general` |

| `nameInternal` | string | No | Only your team sees it. Useful to tell apart services with the same name for the customer. |

| `defaultQty` | number | No | Quantity that is filled in automatically when the service is added to an order. |
