# Record a credit note from QuickBooks in Filmo

> Records a credit memo created directly in QuickBooks as an externally issued mirror credit note in Filmo, and updates it from QuickBooks (content and voiding). Documents sent by Filmo are skipped. A fixed-amount discount, tax-inclusive amounts, an unknown tax code, an ambiguous contact or a duplicate number makes the step fail with the reason.
